Sausage Cabbage Saute
Perhaps I should have this under lunch or dinner, not breakfast – but I had it for breakfast the past two mornings and it is So yummy! 🙂 I Like vegetables for breakfast. Especially if it is sauteed to lovely caramelization. But this can be eaten any time of the day.
2 chicken apple sausage links (I used Aidells)
1/3 of a head of cabbage, shredded
1. Heat coconut oil in a skillet and meanwhile chop the sausages up.
2. Saute until nicely toasty brown. Don’t let it get too hot.
3. Add the shredded cabbage and sautee until it begins to caramelize. It becomes reminiscent to caramelized onions. In fact, I prefer it darker than it is in the picture.
4. Add any salt and pepper if you desire. The sausage is salty, so it won’t need much. Enjoy! 🙂
