You can do this with anything really! I have recently roasted broccoli, green beans and brussel sprouts. They were all delicious! I can eat great quantities of vegetables when they are roasted! I highly recommend them.
2 pounds Brussel Sprouts (or other green vegetables)
Bacon Fat, Lard or Coconut Oil
Salt and Pepper
1/2 tsp. Onion Powder
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. If your roasting fat needs to be melted, place in a roasting pan and put it in the oven while it preheats. Trim Brussel Sprouts and cut each one in half. Toss with the seasonings in the melted oil. Roast for 30 minutes, then stir. Put back in the oven for another 20 minutes. Enjoy!
*Various vegetables may take different amounts of time to roast – so be sure to keep an eye on them. 🙂
