So many of my recipes are just ideas and pictures to help you remember all the good food options you have! This really doesn’t require a recipe, but was SO good! I cut up the parsnips and carrots before church this last Sunday, and had them all ready to turn on as soon as we came home. The combination is so sweet and earthy, combined with the creamy butter and crisp parsley! Yum!
3 large parsnips, peeled and chopped*
5 or 6 carrots, peeled and chopped*
Butter to taste (or coconut oil!)
1/4 cup parsley, chopped*
Salt and Pepper, to taste
1. Place chopped carrots and parsnips in a saucepan with water. Cover and steam until tender.
2. Drain, and add remaining ingredients to taste.
3. Enjoy! 🙂
*You can really use any combination that you prefer. 🙂
